Position Summary:
The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing the warranty claims process for our dealership. This role includes preparing and submitting warranty claims, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and possess a thorough understanding of automotive warranty processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, submit, and manage warranty claims to manufacturers in accordance with established guidelines and timelines.
- Review warranty claims for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation before submission.
- Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims, payments, and adjustments.
- Communicate with service department personnel, manufacturers, and customers regarding warranty-related inquiries and issues.
- Monitor warranty claim denials and work to resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to service staff regarding warranty processes and updates.
- Audit warranty claims for compliance and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Generate reports and analyses on warranty claims and trends for management review.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Nissan and Infiniti automotive warranties.
- Previous experience as a warranty administrator, service advisor, or in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of automotive warranty processes, manufacturer guidelines, and service department operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and resolve issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
